This fall the Bedlington Terrier Club of America will hold their 2024 BTCA Western National Specialty Show in Greeley, Colorado in conjunction with the Bedlington Terrier Club of Greater Denver’s regional specialty show.  The weekend will include 5 shows in 4 days with two specialty shows all in the same indoor location.  The schedule of events is as follows:

September 6, 2024:  The Rocky Mountain All Terrier Club Dog Show

September 7, 2024:   The Evergreen Kennel Club Dog Show

September 7, 2024:  The Bedlington Terrier Club of Greater Denver Regional Specialty Show * pending AKC approval*

September 8, 2024:  The Bedlington Terrier Club of America Western National Specialty designated at The Evergreen Kennel Club Dog Show

September 9, 2024:  The Evergreen Kennel Club Dog Show

The Evergreen Kennel Club is planning to host an all-breed obedience and rally trial on Friday, September 6, 2024.  The judges will be Nancy Craig and Nancy Simmons.  The BTCA will be offering rosettes and a package of specialty notecards for qualifying scores. (limit one per dog)

Judge’s Education Seminar

The Bedlington Terrier Club of America will hold a Judge’s Education Seminar on the Bedlington Terrier on Friday, September 6, 2024, at 2 PM, at Island Grove Regional Park, 501 N 14th Ave., Greeley, CO 8063.  The seminar will run from 2PM until 3:30 PM followed by a hands-on exercise held in a ring at the show.  Room and Ring TBA.

With permission from the American Kennel Club, the Friday educational seminar and the Sunday ringside mentoring are eligible for full credits, up to 6 credits could be earned. Please note that for this year our National Specialty on 6-29-24 in OK City, OK will not be eligible for the National Specialty 6-credit potential.
