The objectives
of the BTCA are:
- To encourage
and promote the breeding of purebred BedlingtonTerriers, and to
do all possible to bring their natural qualities to perfection.
- To insist
that members and breeders accept the standard of the Bedlington
Terrier adopted by the BTCA and approved by the American Kennel
Club, as the standard of excellence by which Bedlington Terriers
shall be bred and judged.
- To conduct
sanctioned and licensed specialty shows under the rules of the
American Kennel Club.
- To urge all
to follow the Code of Ethics adopted by the club as a guide for
breeding, showing, and owning the Bedlington Terrier.
