  • To encourage and promote the breeding of purebred BedlingtonTerriers, and to do all possible to bring their natural qualities to perfection.
  • To insist that members and breeders accept the standard of the Bedlington Terrier adopted by the BTCA and approved by the American Kennel Club, as the standard of excellence by which Bedlington Terriers shall be bred and judged.
  • To conduct sanctioned and licensed specialty shows under the rules of the American Kennel Club.
  • To urge all to follow the Code of Ethics adopted by the club as a guide for breeding, showing, and owning the Bedlington Terrier.
