The trophy is a silver bowl on a custom made wooden base offered by Sandra Bethea, Sangeo Bedlington Terriers, through the Bedlington Terrier Club of America, Inc.

This Challenge Trophy is for the owner/handler of the Best of Breed winner of the Bedlington Terrier Club of America, Inc. National Specialty show and the Floating Specialty Show. The trophy will be retired after being won by the same owner/handler three times, not necessarily with the same dog. The trophy will remain in the possession of the Bedlington Terrier Club of America, Inc. until it is retired.
